About The Artist:
Keri was born in Tampa, and is a lifelong resident of Hillsborough County. She grew up in Plant City and attended Durant High School. In 2001 Keri received her A.S. in Digital Graphic Design, and then went on to graduate in 2004 with a B.S. in Business Management.
She began her 12 years in Photography in 1999. For six years Keri spent her career specializing in Photo restoration while working her way up to VP of Spectrum Camera Corporation. She oversaw all photographic printing and also taught for Center Place for the Arts, while working there. From there, Keri worked in Marketing for businesses such as REMAX, targeting specific demographics. During this time she also shot photos for weddings and events, and also designed brochures and logos for local businesses. Keri continued to embark on new projects when in 2005 she began creating CD's for local musicians and designed their albums from the ground up. She started the project from beginning to end, by taking the photos to creating the fonts and Final CD layout. In 2006 Keri began work in the Investigations department at the Hillsborough County Public Defender’s office as the sole Graphics, Media Production specialist and social media expert. She also was the Office Photographer & Videographer. Some of her many duties included taking photos of crime scenes, filming trials for training purposes, producing video's for state functions, analyzing surveillance video, enhancement of audio and to design official office brochures, etc. Her approach to working with her clientele is to get to know who they are so she can assess the proper needs of any client, be it for marketing, photography, design, or legal exhibits, graphics and SN research. After Leaving the Public Defender’s office Keri worked at Trial Consulting Services continuing her passion for law and art by working as a trial consultant. In 2011, Keri completed her 3rd major musician’s complete CD Design. She works on these projects from the ground up by doing the initial photography, the design, typography and layout of the audio C.D. Also in 2011, Keri has focused on helping her ailing Father back to health after a sudden illness in 2010. It is while helping him recover she has decided on working to make PICTURE COUTURE a full time priority and business.
